Charity ride — the same shape, printed on steel

The outline of the cast medal, printed instead of moulded. This is the version we put forward when the field runs into four figures.

Print keeps the shading

Folds in the jersey, the shadow under the down tube, the grey of the road: all of it survives, because print does not have to be split into enamel fields.

Bare steel as part of the picture

The road is not printed grey — it is the metal itself, left unprinted. Brushing runs horizontally, so the surface reads as speed.

No die, so no die cost

The laser follows the drawing. Change the outline for next year's edition and nothing has to be re-tooled.
