Who we are

What we collect
When you request a quote we collect: your name, e-mail address and country, the product and estimated quantity, and — if you give them — your phone number, event date, ribbon preference, notes and the files you attach. If you use the calculator, we also receive the medal you configured. We do not collect more than we need to prepare your quote.
Why and on what basis
We process this data to prepare and follow up on your quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to a contract). If you later become a client, invoicing data is processed under legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
How long
Quote requests are kept for 24 months from last contact, then deleted. Accounting records follow statutory retention periods.
Who has access
Processors under Art. 28 GDPR: Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting, Germany), Supabase (database, EU region) and Zoho (e-mail, EU data centre). We do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary (always on): the cookie cc_cookie stores your cookie choice for 6 months; your browser's local storage keeps your light or dark mode (medalior-theme) and the medal you are configuring (medalior-configurator-v2) until you clear them. Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years) and, in local storage, the link that brought you to the site (medalior-attribution), so we know where enquiries come from. Advertising (only with your consent): Google Ads cookies _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (up to 90 days), to measure whether an ad led to an enquiry and to show our ads to people who visited the site before. Google Ireland Ltd. processes this data; transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive). You can change or withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing — write to info@medalior.com. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
